There
are 737 nistar depots in the state. Each family is
eligible to get poles, and bamboo on subsidized rate
from Nistar depots for their domestic use.The period for distributing nistar material from
depots is from 1st of January to 30th
June. |

Grazing
rights |
|
These
forest dependent communities are entitled to access
forests for grazing limited to carrying capacity of
forests. However,
grazing is not allowed in special forest areas
like plantations, working coupes
etc. |

Fuel
wood and Fodder collection
rights |
|
The
forest dependent communities are eligible to collect
dry and fallen fuel wood from the forests . They
are entitled to collect fodder from the forests . |

4. |
Bamboo
for Basod |
|
Basod
community is eligible to get 1500 no of bamboo per
family (subject to availability of bamboo)
on subsidized rates for carrying out bamboo based
income generating activities. |

5. |
Non-Nationalized
NWFP including medicinal plants |
|
The
forest dependent communities are eligible to collect
Non-Nationalized minor forest produces
including medicinal plants through nondestructive
means and sell them. |

6. |
Nationalized
forest produce like Tendu
Patta, Sal seed, Harra, Gum |
|
The
forest dependent communities are free to collect
Tendu Patta, Sal Seed , Harra and gum and sell
these produces to the notified outlets of Chhatisgarh
Minor Forest Produce Cooperative Federation Ltd. at
predetermined rate decided by the federation .
These registered collectors of Tendu Patta are
eligible to get bonus, and group insurance facilities. |

Free
Nistar facility to all members of the JFM
committees.
|

|
Free
forest produce from intermediate mechanical
thinning of the coupes that fall with in the
specified area under protection.
|

Share
from main felling 30% for Village Forest
committees (VFC), 10% for Forest Protection
Committees (FPC) .
